Honda CR-Z voted "Car of the Year 2010-2011" in Japan

Hybrid sporty sedan Honda CR-Z named winner of "Car of the Year 2010-2011" in Japan. During the 31-year history of appropriation of the title "Car of the Year" model Honda awarded the title 11 times - a record among all automakers.


When selecting the winner, Jury noted design of Honda CR-Z, its economy, excellent handling, and the fact that hardly went out to the Japanese market, Honda CR-Z has won huge popularity among Japanese consumers. In the first month after the presentation customer orders exceeded sales plan for the model 10 times.

President and CEO of Honda Motor Co, Ltd. Takanobu Ito said: "We do not leave the idea that the main thing when driving - safety and pleasure. In the CR-Z these two approaches together in a unique range of feelings, give birth to the driver the most positive emotions. "
