Lamborghini Launches New Twelve-Cylinder

The Italian company Lamborghini made a formal release of a new 12-cylinder gasoline air engine, which will equip the new super cars Murcielago. The new engine was developed in three years.

Mechanics decided to make the engine as simple as possible, abandoning direct fuel injection. The unit has a system of grease with dry-sump, four throttles in a separate enclosure, intake manifold, which changes its geometry and hydraulic lifters. As stated in the company, this engine will burn 16.8 liters of fuel per 100 kilometers.

The debut of the new engine can be held in March 2011.
