According to a study conducted by the insurance company Warranty Direct in the UK market during the warranty on a new car, the most prone to wear and tear suspension arms. The frequency of repair is 5.86% of all hits in warranty repairs.
The study also showed that every third car, released from three to seven years ago, will require treatment in the service in connection with the problem of wear parts. Most car manufacturers limit the warranty period to three years, but some companies, for example, Kia and Vauxhall extend the warranty period up to 7 years of age or mileage of up to 100,000 miles, equivalent to 160 000 km.
Second and third place was occupied by ball joints and steering gears, which account for 3.89 and 3.88 percent respectively warranty work. Followed by turbo (2.18%), water pump (2.07%), wheel bearings (1,86%), fuel pump (1,38%), flywheel (1,05%) and injector (0,86 %).
