Mercedes-Benz Declassified "Safe" Roadster SLK

German manufacturer of premium cars Mercedes-Benz declassified new roadster SLK. The company confirmed that the official premiere of the car will be in January 2011. The new SLK will be equipped with innovative safety systems by default, not an option. For example Attention Assist constantly analyzes the behavior of the driver on 70 parameters and if necessary, "advises" the driver to rest.

The roadster will also be equipped with Adaptive Brake, Adaptive Cruise Control Distronic Plus, Pre-Safe Brake, Intelligent Lighting System and System Speed Limit Assist, which use the camera to detect speed limit signs and displays them on monitor in the cabin of the car.

Mercedes-Benz SLK will be available in two variations - SLK250 and SLK350. The first is equipped with four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine of 1.8 liters and 201 hp. The second version was aspirated gasoline V6 engine with direct fuel supply. Engine capacity - 3.5 liters, and power - 268 hp.
